First, our new website is up and kicking! If you note any discrepancies or issues, please notify us immediately. As always, there are growing pains with new technologies. We have tested it thoroughly to ensure it operates on all major browsers, but there is always room for improvement. We're going to try to update this section every month to inform interested parties of our accomplishments and growth. We are not a publicly traded company, but we view every customer as a stakeholder in our company to some degree!
Second, LED is taking new steps in becoming a world-class manufacturer! We are currently revising our process to ensure compliance with evolving regulations and production processes. This includes statistically significant testing of subcomponents on top of our 100% testing processes. Every LED, every wire, every solder joint: 100% of every device is tested and retested, and now, subassembly batches will be pre-tested to ensure every product that goes out our doors meets the highest quality standards.
Lastly, members of LED are working on a new, sophisticated tracking system to replace our current system. The new system will ensure accountability and help LED better monitor our production process and the history of each component. Time and resources permitting, we should see this system go online in late 2011.
